After launching the iQOO Z10 Turbo in April with a big battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip, iQOO is now gearing up for its next move. The Vivo sub-brand is reportedly working on the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which will take forward its performance-focused Z series. While the company has not shared an official launch date yet, early teasers and leaks have already started revealing what to expect.
First Look at the Design and Display
iQOO has begun teasing the upcoming phone on Weibo. An iQOO executive recently shared a teaser image with the tagline “Battle Sprite,” offering a partial look at the phone’s back. The image confirms a blue colour option with slightly curved edges, giving it a clean and sporty look. Some users in the comments also hinted that the phone may come with a metal frame, which would improve durability.
On the front, leaks suggest the iQOO Z11 Turbo could feature a 6.59-inch display with 1.5K resolution. This is slightly smaller than the previous model, which may appeal to users who prefer a more compact and easier-to-handle phone without sacrificing screen quality.
Expected Performance and Features
According to leaks, the biggest upgrade could be under the hood. The iQOO Z11 Turbo is said to switch to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, moving away from the MediaTek chip used in the Z10 Turbo. If true, this would be a major boost in raw performance.
For security, the phone is expected to come with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Durability also seems to be a priority, as reports suggest the device may carry both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust and water. Battery life should remain a strong point as well, with rumours pointing to a battery capacity of over 7,600mAh.
How It Compares to the iQOO Z10 Turbo
To put things in perspective, the iQOO Z10 Turbo launched in China at CNY 1,799, roughly Rs. 21,100, for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It features a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The Z10 Turbo also packs a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main camera, supports 90W fast charging, and comes with an IP65 rating. If the current leaks are accurate, the iQOO Z11 Turbo may trade a slightly smaller screen for a more powerful processor and much better water and dust resistance, making it a solid upgrade overall.
