iQOO is getting ready to bring its next flagship, the iQOO 15, to India. The phone, which has already launched in China, is set to succeed the iQOO 13 and is now being teased on Amazon India. While the company hasn’t confirmed an exact date yet, hints suggest it could arrive by the end of November.
New Software: OriginOS 6 With “Atomic Island”
The iQOO 15 will ship with OriginOS 6, the brand’s latest software that looks a lot like Apple’s Liquid Glass design. Expect rounded icons, curved widgets, and smoother animations.
One of its standout features is Atomic Island, inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island. This will display live alerts and let you control things like music playback or stopwatch timers directly from the top of the screen.
Expected Hardware (Based on Chinese Model)
While iQOO hasn’t shared full India specs yet, the iQOO 15 in China comes with:
-
Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
-
Display: 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED
-
Rear Cameras: 50MP primary + 50MP periscope telephoto + 50MP ultra-wide
-
Front Camera: 32MP
-
Battery: 7,000mAh with 100W wired + 40W wireless charging
If India gets the same configuration, this will be one of the most powerful smartphones in the segment.
India Launch Date
iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya teased the launch on X (formerly Twitter) with a spinning date wheel marked “11” for November. The wheel briefly stopped at November 27, hinting at a possible launch date.
While this isn’t official confirmation, it strongly suggests the iQOO 15 will debut in India towards the end of November.
