GoPro has officially launched its latest line of action cameras in India — the GoPro Max 2 and GoPro Lit Hero, along with the new Fluid Pro AI Gimbal. The trio brings together advanced imaging, AI features, and rugged design for creators and adventure lovers alike.
This launch comes about seven weeks after their global debut on September 24, and GoPro is now ready to make them available through popular platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
Pricing and Availability in India
The GoPro Max 2 is priced at ₹57,000 in India. As part of a limited-time introductory offer, buyers can grab it with a 64GB SD card bundle for ₹54,999.
Meanwhile, the GoPro Lit Hero and Fluid Pro AI Gimbal are priced at ₹28,500 and ₹23,000, respectively.
While the Max 2 is already up for sale, the other two products will arrive a little later:
-
GoPro Lit Hero – available for pre-orders starting early December 2025
-
Fluid Pro AI Gimbal – coming in January 2026
All three devices will be available via major online retailers and authorised GoPro stores across India.
GoPro Max 2: The 360-Degree Powerhouse
The GoPro Max 2 is the star of this lineup. It’s designed for immersive content creation, capable of recording 8K 360-degree videos with over 1 billion colors captured in GP Log encoding.
The camera supports 29-megapixel 360-degree still photos that can be easily edited using the GoPro Quik app. The lenses are interchangeable and come with water-repelling optical glass — ideal for shooting in extreme environments.
GoPro has also added a six-microphone setup for a true 360-degree audio experience, along with Bluetooth, built-in GPS, and 360 studio audio support.
Powering the Max 2 is a 1,960mAh Cold-Weather Enduro Battery, designed to withstand freezing conditions. Plus, GoPro’s new AI-powered editing tools — including AI Object Tracking and MotionFrame editing — help automate complex 360-degree edits, making content creation smoother than ever.
GoPro Lit Hero: Compact Yet Capable
If you prefer something lighter, the GoPro Lit Hero could be your go-to camera. Weighing just 93 grams, it’s built for portability but still packs serious punch.
It records 4K videos at 60fps, supports 2x slow-motion capture, and even offers an optional 4:3 aspect ratio for creators who prefer a taller frame.
There’s also a built-in light for better visibility in dim environments, and GoPro claims it’s waterproof up to 5 meters. On the photography front, it can capture 12-megapixel stills in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The Enduro Battery inside delivers up to 100 minutes of 4K recording, making it a handy companion for travel and vlogging.
Fluid Pro AI Gimbal: Smart Stabilization with Extra Power
GoPro’s new Fluid Pro AI Gimbal takes stabilization to the next level. It’s a 3-axis gimbal equipped with AI Subject Tracking, supporting not just GoPro cameras but also smartphones and compact point-and-shoot cameras.
It can handle devices weighing up to 400 grams and comes with a built-in fill light — perfect for low-light scenes. The gimbal boasts up to 18 hours of battery life and can even charge connected devices while in use.
The mount is fully customizable, giving creators more flexibility during shoots.
Final Thoughts
With the GoPro Max 2 leading the pack, the Lit Hero offering a more compact alternative, and the Fluid Pro AI Gimbal adding professional-level stability, GoPro’s latest lineup is clearly aimed at modern creators and adventure enthusiasts.
From 8K 360° videos to AI-assisted editing and extended battery performance, these devices show that GoPro is still pushing the boundaries of what action cameras can do — now, with a touch of intelligence.
