If you have been waiting for Google’s next affordable phone, you might not have to wait much longer. New leaks suggest the Pixel 10a could hit stores as early as mid-February, arriving about a month sooner than last year’s model.
New Look and Storage Options
According to reliable industry insiders, the phone will stick to the usual 128GB and 256GB storage choices. However, Google is shaking up the color palette. Alongside the classic black (Obsidian), shoppers can expect three new shades: Berry, Fog, and Lavender.
This earlier launch suggests Google wants to get its budget-friendly option into customers’ hands quickly, rather than waiting for the traditional spring release window.
Strong Specs for the Price
Under the hood, the Pixel 10a seems to be borrowing power from its more expensive siblings. It is expected to run on the Tensor G4 chip, the same processor found in Google’s flagship phones.
The screen is getting a nice boost too. Leaks point to a 6.3-inch display that is brighter and smoother, with a 120Hz refresh rate. To keep it running all day, Google is reportedly packing in a large 5,100mAh battery, which is excellent for a phone of this size.
Same Great Camera and Support
Google isn’t changing its winning camera formula. The phone is expected to feature a 48-megapixel main camera paired with an ultrawide lens, capable of taking the high-quality photos Pixel fans love.
Best of all, the price is rumored to stay at $499 (approx. Rs. 44,000). With a promise of seven years of software updates, this phone is shaping up to be one of the best value deals of 2026.
