When it comes to Google Pixel smartphones, performance has rarely been their strongest suit—especially since the brand shifted to its in-house Tensor chipsets. With the global launch of the Pixel 10 series, excitement is high, and now the first real-world benchmarks of the new Tensor G5 are making their way online.
Pixel 10 Pro XL’s First AnTuTu Results
A Reddit user recently tested the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, which is powered by the latest Tensor G5 SoC. The handset managed an overall AnTuTu score of 1,173,221, putting it in the same ballpark as the Honor 200 Pro (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3) and Motorola Edge 60 Pro (MediaTek Dimensity 8350).
Here’s a closer look at the breakdown:
-
CPU score: 415,848. This places it alongside processors like the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Dimensity 9300+. It’s about a 15% bump compared to the Pixel 9 Pro XL, but still not quite on par with 2025’s newest flagships.
-
GPU score: 367,206. Surprisingly, this is lower than the Pixel 9 Pro XL, whose Mali-G715 MC7 GPU crossed 440,000 on AnTuTu. With the PowerVR IMG DXT-48-1536 GPU inside, the Pixel 10 Pro XL shows nearly a 20% dip in graphics performance, putting it closer to older chips like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Comparison With Rivals
So how does it stack up against today’s heavy hitters? On the CPU front, the Tensor G5 is competitive with modern Snapdragon and MediaTek processors. But for gaming and graphics-heavy tasks, it’s hard to ignore that phones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max are delivering much stronger GPU numbers.
Pixel 10 Pro XL Specifications
Specs-wise, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL still looks like a premium flagship:
-
Display: 6.8-inch LTPO OLED with 1,344 × 2,992 resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
-
Cameras: Triple setup with a 50MP main, 48MP 5x telephoto, and 48MP ultrawide. Selfies are handled by a 42MP front camera.
-

-
Price in India: ₹1,24,999 for the 256GB variant, available in Jade, Moonstone, and Obsidian colours.
The benchmarks show that the Pixel 10 Pro XL with its Tensor G5 delivers respectable CPU performance but falls short on GPU power compared to its rivals. For everyday use, photography, and smooth UI, it should perform well, but gamers or power users might find better options in competitors.
