What Is Flex By Google Pay?
Flex by Google Pay is a digital credit card that lives inside the Google Pay app. Users do not receive a physical card. Everything is managed on the phone. This card allows users to make payments and pay later.
It combines the ease of UPI with the benefits of a credit card. Google said the product is built for daily spending needs in India. Flex works both online and offline as it runs on the RuPay network.

How Flex By Google Pay Works?
Users can apply for Flex directly from the Google Pay app. The process is paperless. There is no need to wait for a physical card.
Once approved, users can pay at stores by scanning QR codes. They can also use the card for online payments where RuPay cards are accepted. Moreover, the card can be controlled fully from the app. Users can set limits, block or unblock the card and reset the PIN when needed.
Why did Google Pay launch Flex in India?
Google said Flex is built to suit how people in India already pay. Many users prefer digital payments and simple tools. The company aims to remove the complexity linked with traditional credit cards. Flex is meant to offer clear instant rewards and easy repayment options. Google added that the product will be rolled out gradually to more users.
Banks And Availability
Axis Bank is the first banking partner for Flex by Google Pay. Google said it plans to work with more banks in the future. The rollout has started and will expand across India in the coming weeks and months.
