Samsung confirmed that it will roll out its Android-15 based skin, OneUI 7 in 2025. The internal beta testing has revealed its several features.
OneUI 7 will bring a new music player that will be similar to iOS 18 lock screen music player. This means it will have a big music poster and large media player.
OneUI 7 will introduce a new tiny bar on the bottom of the lock screen that will show live activities in real time. It will be similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island.
Samsung will allow users to customise their quick panel with OneUI 7. It will also allow users to change the size of shortcuts in the quick panel.
Samsung will allow users to tune their homescreen animation themselves. The brand will also allow users to choose stock Android and iOS-like animations.
OneUI 7 will bring several Galaxy AI features like Notifications summary, Audio Separation, AI Game Assist etc.
After Apple added AI powers to Siri, Samsung plans to do something similar with its voice assistant, Bixby.
The first OneUI 7 beta update will roll out in the first week of December for Galaxy S24 Series. The stable version will roll out later in February. (Via: @FamilyTaes)
