Mahindra & Mahindra launched its two electric cars in India - XEV 9e and BE 6e. Here is everything you need to know about the XEV 9e.
The XEV 9e flaunts an aerodynamic design featuring triangular headlights with projector headlamps, connected taillight setup and inverted L-shaped LED DRLs.
It has a 59kwh battery pack that is claimed to return a range of 656km on a single full charge. It can be recharged from 20 to 80 per cent in just 20 minutes.
Its electric motor produces 228 bhp and 380 Nm torque that can make it sprint from 0 to 100kph in 6.8 seconds.
The Mahindra XEV 9e has a wheelbase of 2,775mm while the ground clearance stands at 207mm.
Featurewise, the XEV 9e has a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, and a three-screen setup on the dashboard.
It also has a Harman-Kardon 16 speaker system, wireless mobile charging, six airbags, 65W USB Type-C charging ports and cabin pre-cooling function.
The XEV9e screen has pre-installed OTT apps, built-in Amazon Alexa, 5G connectivity, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
The XEV 9e has been launched at an ex-showroom price of INR 21.9 lakh. The delivery of this car will start from February 2025.
