And now, the Mountain View, California-based tech giant has given us our first proper look at its new book-style foldable, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. From the teaser, it’s clear Google hasn’t made drastic design changes from the current Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but there are still a few details worth noting.

First Look at the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold

The teaser video — fittingly titled “Open” — shows off the Pixel 10 Pro Fold from multiple angles. In one shot, you can see a side profile that clearly reveals a protruding camera island on the back. The design is instantly familiar, closely matching what we’ve already seen on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Other glimpses highlight the antenna bands running along the top and bottom edges, along with neatly rounded corners. The right side houses the power and volume buttons, while the left side is left clean and minimal.

Display and Selfie Camera Placement

Towards the end of the teaser, we get a look at the inner display. The aspect ratio looks nearly identical to last year’s model, and the selfie camera — a hole-punch cutout — is still tucked away in the top-right corner rather than being centred.

Colour and Other Hints

The wallpaper shown in the teaser seems to hint at a Moonstone colour option for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, although Google hasn’t officially confirmed any specs yet.

This isn’t the first time Google has teased its August 20 announcements. Last month, the Alphabet-owned company dropped a short video revealing the design of the upcoming Google Pixel 10 Pro and confirming its name.

Interestingly, earlier this month, Google also appeared to take a subtle jab at Apple while pointing out the delay in rolling out Apple Intelligence updates for Siri.

The Google Pixel 10 series is just about ready to make its debut at the Made by Google event on August 20.
