In a new teaser for the upcoming Pixel 10 series, Google takes a cheeky jab at the Apple iPhone, specifically poking fun at the long wait for the much-hyped Siri AI integration.

“Coming Soon” Has Been a Long Time Coming

The teaser, titled “Soon”, doesn’t name Apple directly — but it doesn’t have to. The message is loud and clear. A voiceover in the video says:

“If you buy a new phone because of a feature that’s coming soon… but it’s been coming soon for a full year… you could change your definition of soon. Or you could just… change your phone.”

Ouch. That’s clearly aimed at iPhone users still waiting for those AI upgrades Apple announced last year.

Siri’s AI Upgrade Is Still in the Waiting Room

To give you some context, Apple introduced a bunch of new AI features at WWDC 2024, including smarter and more responsive capabilities for Siri. The catch? They haven’t really rolled out yet — at least not for most users.

The full Siri AI integration is now expected to arrive sometime in 2026. That’s quite a delay for a feature many thought would be ready with the iPhone 16.

Meanwhile, Google’s Already There

While Apple users are still waiting, Google is making sure people know that Pixel phones already have AI baked in. With features powered by Gemini AI, the upcoming Pixel 10 series is expected to take things even further.

At Google I/O 2025, the company showcased AI tools that are already available — like smarter call handling, on-device assistance, and advanced photo editing. So when Google says “soon,” it means now.

Clever, Confident — and a Bit Spicy

This isn’t the first time Google and Apple have playfully traded punches, but this one hits a little harder because it reflects something users genuinely care about: not having to wait for features that were promised a year ago.

The message? If you’re tired of waiting, maybe it’s time to switch to something that’s already doing what you want — like the Pixel 10 series.

The teaser might be short and cheeky, but it says a lot. Google is positioning itself — and the Pixel 10 — as the phone that delivers on AI promises today, while Apple iPhone users are still waiting for Siri’s AI integration to actually show up.

Whether you’re team iPhone or Pixel, one thing’s for sure: the competition just got a little more interesting.

Google is back at it again — and this time, it’s having a little fun at Apple’s expense.
