When Will the New Siri Launch
Macworld recently examined internal code found in a leaked build of iOS 26. According to this data, Apple is preparing to roll out the new AI-powered Siri in Spring 2026.
If the timing matches Apple’s usual release patterns, the upgrade may come with the iOS 26.4 update. This would place the launch somewhere between March and May 2026. Apple has not officially confirmed this timeline, so it could still change.
Coming Soon to Home Devices Too
The upgraded Siri is not limited to the iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. Reports say Apple plans to bring it to smart home devices as well, starting with the next-generation HomePod.
The new Siri is expected to hold more natural, human-like conversations and understand context better. This may allow it to handle smarter reminders, follow-up questions, and actions that feel more intuitive than the current version.
Industry Analysts Agree
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also reported in November that Apple was preparing to launch the improved assistant around March or April. Other reports suggest the system might use a version of Google’s Gemini AI model for natural language understanding and AI-based web search.
If these predictions hold, Apple users could be just a few months away from experiencing the most advanced version of Siri ever made.
