Bad news for all the Apple lovers. The company has removed the Night Mode feature from its Portrait camera. Yes, you read it right! The option is no longer visible in the latest-generation iPhones.
Apple Night Mode in Portrait Glitch
The issue has been reported in the newly launched iPhone 17 series, affecting several recent models. The list includes the iPhone 16 Pro / Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max.
The Night Mode feature is still available in the standard photo mode, functioning the same as before. However, Apple has not released any official statement regarding the matter. It is still unclear whether this is a software glitch or a deliberate removal by the company.

A large number of users have slammed Apple on social media, urging the brand to bring the feature back. Some users claimed that the option was present in iOS 18, but disappeared after updating to the latest iOS version. Many have tried multiple methods to restore the feature but failed.
Apple Night Mode Use
Night Mode in Portrait mode is considered one of the most advanced and useful features on iPhones. It allows users to capture better low-light photos while applying background blur, giving images a more aesthetic look. Apple introduced this feature in its newer lineup, and every series after the iPhone 12 has been treated with it—until now.
