After revolutionising the ADV segment with the R1300 GS, German player BMW Motorrad is now planning to add another new motorcycle to its lineup. It will be an entry-level ADV, arriving under the F 450 GS nameplate in collaboration with TVS.
BMW F 450 GS Launch and Expected Price
According to the details available on the internet, production has already begun at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur plant near Bangalore. However, neither brand has revealed any official details about the launch yet. It is speculated that the motorcycle may be unveiled at this year’s “India Bike Week”. Again, the dates for the country’s biggest biking event are still awaited from the organisers.

The BMW F 450 GS is likely to be launched at an expected starting price of around Rs 4 lakh, while the top-of-the-line variant may go up to Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). When it comes to the final on-road price, customers can expect it to fall between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 5.2 lakh, depending on the city and state.
