After making their global debut in September, HUAWEI has now launched its new GT 6 and GT 6 Pro smartwatches in India. The latest additions to the popular GT series continue the brand’s focus on outdoor sports, heart-rate accuracy, and long-term endurance tracking.
Both watches come loaded with more than 100 sport modes, wrist-based cycling power metrics, and 5ATM water resistance. HUAWEI is also promising impressive battery life — up to 21 days on a single charge. Importantly, the devices support both Android and iOS, making them accessible to a wide range of users.
GT 6 Pro: Rugged Build and Advanced Outdoor Tracking
The GT 6 Pro is the more premium of the two, built with a tough titanium alloy body and protected by sapphire glass. It features a bright 1.47-inch AMOLED display capable of hitting 3,000 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under harsh sunlight.
Outdoor athletes will appreciate HUAWEI’s new Sunflower GPS Positioning System, designed for more accurate tracking during activities such as trail running, hiking, and cycling. The watch also monitors training performance with wrist-based cycling power, while health features include ECG, in-depth sleep recovery insights, and a depth sensor that supports diving up to 40 meters.
GT 6: A Lightweight Option With the Same Performance Punch
The standard GT 6 comes in 46mm and 41mm sizes and opts for a lightweight stainless steel build. Despite the lower price, it retains the core outdoor tracking and cycling power features of the Pro model.
It also sports a sharp AMOLED display tuned for outdoor readability. On the health side, it offers detailed sleep analysis including deep sleep metrics, REM tracking, and recovery trends. While it misses out on the titanium construction, the GT 6 still comes with an IP69 rating and handles shallow water activities without issue.
