The Indian smartphone scene is heating up once again, and this time it’s iQOO that’s ready to grab attention. The company has confirmed the launch of its next flagship, the iQOO 15, in November 2025. And it’s not just another upgrade – this one packs Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and will be among the first phones to run on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16.
iQOO 15 Specifications
The iQOO 15 comes with a huge 6.85-inch 2K AMOLED display that supports a silky-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Whether you’re gaming or just scrolling, this screen is going to feel seriously fluid.
On the camera front, iQOO is going all-in. You get a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens that can zoom 3x optically and stretch all the way up to 100x digitally. Selfies and video calls will also get a big boost with a 50MP front camera.
Performance Built for Power Users and Gamers
At the heart of the iQOO 15 is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the same flagship chip you’ll see in devices like the Xiaomi 17 series. But iQOO is also targeting gamers by adding its own Q3 gaming chip. This chip helps keep frame rates stable, reduces lag, and basically makes sure your games run as smooth as possible.
You also get LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which means apps open quickly and files transfer in a flash. Keeping everything alive is a monster 7,000mAh battery, paired with 100W fast charging – so even if you run low, you’ll be back up and running in no time.
OriginOS 6: A Smarter, Smoother Experience
The iQOO 15 will be among the first phones to ship with OriginOS 6. This new version focuses heavily on optimization and long-term performance. Thanks to something called the Origin Smooth Engine, the phone manages its computing and display resources more efficiently.
There are also new features like Origin Island, DocMaster, and an AI Retouch tool for photos. According to iQOO’s own tests, apps now open 18% faster, and frame rates are 10% more stable compared to the previous version.
Launch Timeline and Price (Expected )
The iQOO 15 is expected to arrive in India in the second half of November 2025, shortly after its launch in China. The starting price should be around ₹60,000, making it a premium option slightly above the iQOO 13.
