A new report hints that Nothing might be ready to expand its upcoming Nothing Phone 3 series with a lighter, more affordable model. The rumored smartphone, expected to be called the Nothing Phone 3a Lite, is said to be under development and would slot in below the standard Phone 3a in terms of price and specs.
Expected Launch and Availability
If the claims hold true, the Phone 3a Lite could debut later this year in India and other global markets. For Indian buyers, the phone is tipped to launch in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. True to the brand’s style, it will likely come in black and white color options, while international markets may see different storage combinations or even fresh colorways.
Nothing Phone 3a Specifications
Details about the Lite model’s hardware remain under wraps, but it is expected to carry similar features to the Nothing Phone 3a, albeit with some toned-down specifications to keep the pricing more accessible.
For context, the Nothing Phone 3a, which launched earlier in March, packs a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with Android 15-based NothingOS 3.1.
On the camera front, the Phone 3a features a 50MP Samsung main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Sony telephoto camera, along with a 32MP front-facing shooter. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.
If Nothing follows its usual playbook, the Phone 3a Lite could emerge as an attractive entry point into the Nothing ecosystem for users who like the brand’s distinctive design but want something easier on the pocket.
