Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle has launched the all-new Tata Ace Pro in India, starting at ₹3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company states that the Ace Pro is now India’s most affordable four-wheel mini-truck, offering the right balance of efficiency, versatility, and value. Targeted at small businesses and first-time entrepreneurs, the Ace Pro is designed as a reliable partner for daily cargo and delivery needs.
For over two decades, the Ace brand has been a trusted name in India’s light commercial vehicle segment, enabling more than 2.5 million entrepreneurs to establish and grow their businesses. With the Ace Pro, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle looks to carry this legacy forward while adapting to the evolving requirements of logistics, e-commerce, and urban transport.
Petrol, CNG, and Electric Options
The new Ace Pro will be available in three versions to suit different kinds of operators: a petrol model with a 694cc engine, a bi-fuel option that runs on CNG with a small petrol backup, and a fully electric version capable of delivering 155 km on a single charge.
Practical and Profitable
Built to maximize earning potential, the Ace Pro can carry up to 750 kg of load on a 6.5-foot-long cargo deck. Owners can opt for half-deck or flatbed layouts, and even customize it with containers or refrigeration units. A sturdier chassis also means the vehicle is designed to handle heavy use without compromising stability.
During the launch, Girish Wagh, Executive Director at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle, described the Ace Pro as a “partner for a new generation of dreamers” and emphasized its stability, safety, and profitability.
A More Driver-Friendly Mini-Truck
While mini-trucks have traditionally been about function over form, Tata has made sure the Ace Pro doesn’t compromise on comfort. The cabin is roomier, seating has been made more ergonomic, and the dashboard features a modern digital cluster. Safety has also been improved with a crash-tested cabin that meets AIS096 norms.
Technology has found its way here too. The Ace Pro is connected to Tata’s Fleet Edge platform, offering real-time tracking of vehicle health and driver performance. Features like a gear-shift advisor and reverse parking assist make life easier in crowded city traffic.
Easy to Buy, Easy to Maintain
The Ace Pro can be booked through 1,250 Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle dealerships across India or via the company’s online platform, Fleet Verse. Financing support is being offered in partnership with banks and NBFCs. To ensure smooth ownership, the mini-truck is backed by over 2,500 service outlets and 24×7 roadside assistance, reducing downtime for operators.
