Ducati has kicked off 2025 with a bang, launching the all-new Panigale V2 and Panigale V2 S in India. These superbikes mark a fresh chapter in the brand’s iconic twin-cylinder sports bike lineup, blending Ducati’s racing DNA with everyday usability.

Both bikes will start arriving in Ducati showrooms across India by the end of January 2025. Prices are set at ₹19.11 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Panigale V2 and ₹21.09 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Panigale V2 S. Importantly, both are fully compliant with India’s E20 fuel standards, making them future-ready.

Powering the Next Generation

At the heart of the 2025 Panigale V2 is a brand-new 890cc 90-degree V-twin engine — the lightest twin-cylinder motor Ducati has ever made, weighing just 54.4 kg. Despite its compact size, it packs a punch with 120 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm.

The design is all-new too, taking heavy inspiration from the flagship Panigale V4. It features sharp, aerodynamic surfaces, a full-LED headlamp with a striking DRL signature, and a single-seat rear section with under-seat exhausts that nod to Ducati’s racing heritage.

V2 vs V2 S: What’s Different?

Both bikes share the lightweight monocoque chassis design, which uses the engine as a stressed member to enhance stability and handling.

The Panigale V2 S, however, raises the game with:

  • Ohlins NIX-30 forks and TTX36 rear shock (fully adjustable)

  • Brembo M50 monobloc calipers for sharper braking

  • Lightweight lithium battery for weight savings

The standard V2 isn’t left behind — it gets a Marzocchi fork and Kayaba monoshock, both fully adjustable.

Dry weights stand at 179 kg for the Panigale V2 (two-seater) and 175 kg for the single-seat V2 S, making both impressively light for their class.

Electronics and Rider Aids

Ducati has loaded these new Panigales with its most advanced electronics suite, powered by a six-axis IMU. Riders get access to:

  • Cornering ABS with slide-by-brake

  • Ducati Traction Control (DTC)

  • Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)

  • Engine Brake Control (EBC)

  • Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0 for clutchless up and downshifts

There are four riding modes — Race, Sport, Road, and Wet — so the bike adapts to your mood, skill, and the weather.

Everything is displayed on a new 5-inch full-TFT dashboard, borrowed from the Panigale V4. It’s sharp, colourful, and makes it easy to tweak settings or track performance.

Ducati India’s Take

Speaking at the launch, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, said the superbike market here is growing fast and the new Panigale V2 fits right in. “It’s not just an update; it’s a completely new motorcycle, offering the perfect mix of power, agility, and advanced electronics,” he said.

The Bottom Line

The 2025 Panigale V2 and V2 S aren’t just about headline numbers — they’re about giving riders the thrill of Ducati performance with real-world usability. Finished in the brand’s signature Ducati Red, these bikes look every bit as fast as they ride.

With prices starting a little above ₹19 lakh, Ducati is making a bold statement: superbike performance doesn’t have to be out of reach for Indian enthusiasts.
