Tecno has launched the all-new Spark Go 5G in India, bringing 5G connectivity to the budget segment. The company says it is the slimmest and lightest 5G phone in its class, yet it packs a huge 6,000mAh battery. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, the device promises smooth everyday performance and is claimed to deliver up to five years of lag-free usage. Along with that, users get the Ella AI voice assistant and support for No Network Communication, a feature that lets you call or text even without cellular coverage.
Price and Availability in India
The Tecno Spark Go 5G price in India has been set at ₹9,999 for its sole 4GB RAM + 128GB storage version. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart starting August 21 at 12 PM IST. Buyers will be able to choose from three finishes: Ink Black, Sky Blue, and Turquoise Green.
Display and Performance
On the front, the Spark Go 5G sports a 6.76-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The phone ships with Android 15-based HiOS out of the box.
The device also comes loaded with AI-driven features. The Ella AI voice assistant supports multiple Indian languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Bangla. It also includes tools like an AI Writing Assistant and Google’s Circle to Search for added convenience.
Cameras
In the camera department, the Tecno Spark Go 5G gets a 50-megapixel AI-powered rear camera with an LED flash. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The main camera also supports 2K video recording at 30fps, which is rare in this price bracket.
Connectivity and Special Features
One of the highlights is support for 4X4 MIMO technology, making the Spark Go 5G the first in its class to offer it. With four antennas working simultaneously, network speeds can be boosted by up to 73 percent. The phone also carries Tecno’s No Network Communication feature, already seen on the Spark Go 2, which allows users to stay connected without mobile service on eligible devices.
In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and even includes an IR blaster.

Despite its slim design, the Spark Go 5G houses a massive 6,000mAh battery, paired with 18W fast charging. The phone has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It measures just 7.99mm thick, weighs 194g, and strikes a balance between size, weight, and battery life.
